Go hunting for unique and colourful street art in Chinatown and Telok Ayer with us and snap IG-worthy shots of beautiful heritage-murals depicting Singapore's past and present. Hidden amidst the charming heritage shophouses in bustling Chinatown, look out for old-school goodies in the "Mamak Store" (provisions stall), iconic red headscarves in "Samsui Women" (female migrant workers from Sansui County in China), and a glimpse into a humble Chinatown "Home" of yesteryear, just to name a few. A stone's throw away from these impressive murals is the beautiful and majestic Buddha Tooth Relic Temple whose architecture was influenced by China's Tang Dynasty. (Will not be going into the temple). The tour also covers the quaint enclave of Ann Siang Hill and Telok Ayer Green, once the heart of Singapore’s commercial centre, and relive the memories of Singapore’s history. View (from outside) the famous Thian Hock Keng Temple (a national monument); visit several historical landmarks; and wonder through the colourful traditional shophouses and learn about the trade and ways of life of Singapore’s early immigrants in the 1800s. Whilst at Ann Siang Hill Park, look out for different tree species and, in particular, the tamarind, cinnamon, nutmeg and breadfruit trees.

This tour starts at Telok Ayer and ends at Chinatown.
