On this tour, you would be learning and experiencing everything about the Peranakan culture. Sight, sound and smell. Learning about the culture and the influence in cooking, pottery, fashion and language. You would be visiting the Spice garden to see the different spices thats used in Peranakan cooking like Assam, Gulagor, Cinnamon, pepper. Then driving up to Joo Chiat area, we would be looking at some beautiful colourful Peranakan culture infleunced in the architecture of these houses. You would have the opportunity to visit a traditional Peranakan Deli where you can see traditional Peranakan snacks, sauces and dumplings. Here we would be able see the traditional Peranakan styled batik and sarong Kebaya and learn about the different and even look at the handmade beaded shoes. Your would be able to understand the cross culture influence of Malay and Chinese even in the Peranakan literature. During your time here, you would be able to get your hands on in doing your own Peranakan tile painting as well and bring home your own Peranakan art work. Lunch would be at a traditional Peranakan Restaurant.
