Eat, Pray, Love in Singapore – 2.5-Hour Private Walking Tour of Singapore River
In the olden times, storytellers used to be stationed at various spots along the Singapore riverbank, entertaining the river communities with stories. Today, the Singapore River, with its 3 different quays still provides community entertainment but differently - it has transformed into a nightlife destination, packed with food joints, loud pubs and rooftop bars.
With no natural resources apart from its people, the transformation of this tiny island city-state is immense. Bearing in mind, there is no shared history or common language at the start. What are the shared aspiration and values that enabled the people from diverse background to defy all odds and enable this transformation?
Let your very own storyteller take you on a stroll down memory lane along the Singapore River and the Civil and Cultural District to uncover the incredible stories, mystical legends and urban tales of how Singapore began, and how it became the Singapore that the world knows today.
