Our coach would take us down famous Orchard Road and passing 2 significant buildings in Singapore Cathay Building and the famous YMCA where during the war, this was the headquarters of the infamous Kempetai, Japanese Imperial Army secret police where many Singaporean entered this building and never returned. Traveling towards Chinatown, After Singapore fell to the Japanese, the Japanese Army started the Sook Ching Massacre here in Singapore and Penang. we would be visiting a landmark site in Chinatown where it was one of the interrogation centre for anti Japanese sympathisers. Our drive will continue passing by the National Art Gallery ( former City Hall ) towards the Civilian War Memorial. Traveling onto the ECP, we head towards Changi Beach where where we will visit one of the landmarks where the Sook Ching Massacre took place. On our return Journey, we would be visiting the big Johor Guns, passing by Changi Museum and Changi Prison before returning to our pick up point.
